Demonstration at Kai Ohlgren in Lappfjärd, Finland

Demonstration at Kai Ohlgren in Lappfjärd, Finland
On Thursday the 6th of September Grimme Skandinavien hosted a demonstration of Potato Harvesters at Kai Ohlgrens farm in Lappfjärd, Finland. At 10 a.m. as the demonstration started, a group of interested potato growers had already turned up. Kai Ohlgren, who has recently purchased the new Grimme SE 150-60 NB Potato Harvester for this season, drove the Harvester himself and told, the harvester is very gentle, extremely good at cleaning the potatoes and has very strong capacity.

Roland Rosenback from Grimme Skandinavien finds, that showing the Grimme machines at work it very important, as it gives the customers the opportunity to not only see the machines at work, but also try them out. Further Kai Ohlgren answered lots of questions regarding the harvester and shared his experiences with those interested.

One press at a button gets the Harvester started. The share is lowered, all automatic functions activated and the Harvester is ready for work. The "Grimme Clean-Control" enables you to programme max. 16 cleaning-programs into the computers of the Harvester. Various programmes all using parts of the wide range of hydraulic functions this Harvester offers. These pre-programmed working routines make the SE 150-60 NB fit for any conditions and weather.
It is of great importance, that the cleaning systems are always used optimally in order to avoid the people working on the Harvester has to do this manually. "Grimme is the only manufacturer on the market, who offers this option, which is a big relief for our customers" Roland Rosenback from the finnish Grimme importer explains.

Also present at the demonstation was Timo Myllyviita with his service van, showing the growers spareparts and informing on the possibilities for speciel tools on the market, for both old and present Grimme Harvesters. "It is now in autum we go out in the field to help with repairs and out visiting growers interested in boying new machenery for next season" says Timo Myllyviita. He is usually constantly on the phone at the moment, contacted by customers from all over Finland. "Since Grimme Skandinavien took over responsibility for the Grimme product line in most of Scandinavia, our prices of spare parts have dropped drastically, an advantage to our customers in times where cost savings often results in that little extra they all need" Timo Myllyviita explains.
