Mini Exhibition at Åland, Finland
In corporation with our dealer at Åland, BILA AB, Grimme Skandinavien took part in a mini exhibition in Mariehamn, Finland on the 1st. of March.
Bila AB had been invited by ”Pro Agria Ålands Hushållningssällskap”, to introduce their products for vegetable- and fruit growers.
The day started by Lars Erik Hagberg from Bila AB introducing their systems, for watering special crop and their pumping plants, completely or partly controllable via the mobile. Afterwards Heine Hylleberg from Grimme Skandinavien spoke about the possibilities and news in storing onions and cooling/humidifying plants, used when storing vegetables and apples.
Through the day a number of excellent lectures were presented, giving a lot of good advice, hints, ideas and testresults from both the finnish mainland and all the way from Skåne, Sweden. The turnout on this well planned day was big and discussions were lively, both in between the lectures and in the adjoining rooms, where the firms invited had the possibility to present their products.
The desire to expand the possibilities for correct use of chemicals, water and nutrients is extremely high, so due to this it was agreed on a detailed presentation of the Dacom System at Åland in near future. Dacom is the leading supplier of disease-/fertilizer-/and watering control for modern agri culture in Europe.
Since the start of 2011 Grimme Skandinavien has the agency for the Dacom system in Scandinavia, including Finland. "We are quite surprised by the huge interest and need for Dacoms systems" says Arjen Baars from Grimme Skandinavien.
Having taken over the agency of Dacom in Sweden and Finland, Grimme Skandinavien is now looking for a new salesagent to be responsibel for this special product and represent our interests and further market AgroVent ventilation and Frigortek cooling plants for potatoes, carrots and onions.
