New Assembly factory at Grimme

Damme - For more than 40 years Grimme Landmaschinenfabrik has produced self-propelling harvesters. With a productline of more than 8 harvesters for potato- and sugarbeets, Grimme offers the largest programme worldwide.

The demand for innovative technology from Grimme has increased dramatically in all mashine categories over the latest years. In order to adapt production capacity to this positive development, the family business, situated in Damme, is starting an assembly factory of 10.000 m2 producing self-propelling harvesters. The factory is placed in Niedersachsen, near the A1 highway north of Osnabrück and 10 km from the Grimme residence in Damme.

This summer 120 employees will start up the assembly lines for the self-propelled Grimme harvesters, models Maxtron and Rexor. This assembly factory will be the 2nd. Grimme factory in the 21,3 acres industrial park in Niedersachsen. In the area, right next to this new assembly factory, a production factory for webs is already situated. 

Along Adidas and PSA Peugeot, Grimme is among the largest investors in the industrial park of 400 acres in Niedersachsen.
