Open House 10th of January: Thank you!

Thanks to all our visitors at our Open House day the 10th of January. We are proud and glad that so many visitors came, and especially Per Rasmussen says thank you for all of the flowers and gifts that was given to him because of his 25-years anniversary.

The whole company was top-tuned, and lots of news was at show between the tables in the workshop and outside.

The spare parts warehouse has been reconstructed in the end of last year, due to the large number of spare parts, providing a better flow. Especially the sale of spare parts to Sweden and Finland has risen dramatically during the last 3-4 years.

To address the growth we are having in these years, we have during 2013 hired six new employees, says Sales Manager Per Rasmussen. “I am proud of the work all of my colleagues are doing, giving us success in both Denmark and abroad. The day celebrating my 25-years anniversary at Grimme Skandinavien was a great day for me, and having customers coming from the whole of Denmark, and even from Sweden, made my heart warm. But what touched me most was when our customers came to tell me that they are happy for the service and support when they need us in the field.”

Our Dutch suppliers Dacom and Sercom was also represented on the day, together with the new Danish supplier Webstech, that has developed a product for measuring temperature and humidity during potato storage, sending the informations to a computer or telephone.

Grimme Germany were also here, represented by Jan Jippes, giving Per a model of Grimme GL-860 Compacta, an 8-row cup folding planter. This was because Per is the salesman in the world that are selling the model most.

This year we also had something for children and others with interest in model-toys: Five skilled and dedicated model builders had made a potato farm in scale 1:32.

2014 has started, and with a pre-sale larger than ever, we are looking forward to the New Year.
